West Ham United to table bid amid Wolves defender Max Kilman transfer twist
West Ham are expected to table another bid for Wolves defender and Manchester United and Tottenham target Max Kilman after learning that the first one will be rejected, according to Give Me Sport.
The news outlet reported on 21 June that Julen Lopetegui is keen on securing the 27-year-old’s services, having worked with him at Molineux.
The next offer is also expected to fall short of the £45million valuation of the English centre-back.
West Ham must agree personal terms with Max Kilman before next offer
The Hammers must agree personal terms with Kilman before making their next offer as it’s a crucial part of any transfer deal.
If the defender is not interested in joining West Ham or if the club cannot meet his wage demands, then there is no point in making an offer that Wolves will accept.
A personal terms agreement would also give the Hammers a strong bargaining position with Wolves.
If Kilman is keen on moving to the London Stadium then Wolves may be more willing to accept a lower offer, knowing that they risk losing the player if they do not agree to the deal.
Every club quotes a higher fee for their players and it’s down to the people at the Hammers to bring down the fee.

If this is something Lopetegui wants, they’ve got to back him to the T and hopefully, things develop on this front.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers want to secure the free transfer of a player who’s set to leave a Premier League club this month.
