What is the result of West Ham's move for Melvin Bard?

Getting a left-back will be a priority for Nuno, and West Ham will need to move quickly.

However, it seems unlikely that the arrival will be Nice defender Bard amid the latest out of France.

According to L'Equipe journalist, Flavien Tresarrieu, Bard looks set to join Leeds United despite West Ham being in the mix.

Leeds have had a loan-to-buy bid accepted, but the Hammers had also put the same type of deal on the table.

Barring any late-hitches, the reporter shares that Bard will be playing his football in the Premier League if the deal is completed as "expected."
