West Ham United are pressing on with more signings ahead of Tuesday's deadline.

Nuno Espirito Santo has had to remain patient on the incomings front at times this summer.

However, ahead of Tuesday's 11pm deadline, West Ham have made a handful of new additions to their squad.

Revamping the options in attack has been a big focus for London Stadium transfer chiefs in this window.

And with just hours to go before the window shuts, they've made yet another eye-catching upgrade to their forward line.

What type of signings are West Ham looking to make before the deadline?

In Manor Solomon, West Ham have already made one impressive addition to their left wing area this summer.

The Hammers aren't done bolstering in that position though.

Edvin Austbo is now a West Ham player, joining the Hammers from Viking FK on a four-year deal with the option of a further 12 months included.

The Guardian reporter Jacob Steinberg claims via X that any further signings made by the Irons before the deadline are "likely" to be on loan deals.

He also reaffirms that the Hammers are indeed keen on a move for Nottingham Forest defender Morato.

So, what other areas of Nuno's squad could he do with one or two loan arrivals in?

The two positions West Ham could do with a loan signing at

With Austbo bringing West Ham's new signings number up to six for the summer, just two of those have joined on loan.

Joel Piroe and Divine Mukasa have bolstered the attacking midfield/striker areas, and so another signing at the top of the pitch is probably not required.

The same can't be said for central defence and central midfield, however.

West Ham look light of options in both of these departments, and one new loan signing in each of these areas would really shore up Nuno's depth.
