Ray Parlour makes West Ham relegation clause prediction as multiple stars set to leave
Ray Parlour believes that there will be clauses in multiple West Ham United players’ contracts that will allow them to leave the club, should relegation be confirmed.
The Hammers were downed 3-1 by Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Sunday, adding insult to injury in their hopes of staying in the Premier League.
Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted that it will now be difficult for the Irons to avoid relegation with the power now in Tottenham’s hands, as a win over Chelsea would confirm their fate.
West Ham are two points behind Spurs, with the latter having two games in hand over them right now, and even a point at Stamford Bridge would essentially confirm relegation.
However, David Sullivan may be preparing to sell players following the defeat to Newcastle, as the summer picture may have just changed in E20.

Ray Parlour suggests ‘the big boys’ at West Ham will leave
There has already been talk about who will leave the London Stadium, with Jarrod Bowen’s exit looking inevitable.
Others like Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes have already been tipped for staying in the Premier League, just not with West Ham.
| Player | Market value |
| Jarrod Bowen | £30.4m |
| Crysencio Summerville | £26.1m |
| Mateus Fernandes | £30.4m |
While speaking on talkSPORT this Monday, Parlour was in discussion with Jeff Stelling about West Ham’s relegation clauses and who could leave.
Stelling said: “Talk about needing an incentive, they all have 50 per cent salary cut clauses in their contracts.”
Parlour replied: “A lot of the big boys will be leaving anyway, I’m sure there are clauses in there where they can leave as well. I’m sure there will be a bit of a queue for Bowen and people like that, it’s a shame”

Summerville has been linked to Tottenham in recent months, which would be possibly the most West Ham thing to ever happen if that transfer took place this summer.
Fernandes has also been linked to several top Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, as has club captain Bowen.
Less popular West Ham stars who will leave
Adama Traore was brought to the London Stadium in the winter window for a reunion with his former Wolves boss Nuno.
As many expected, the transfer hasn’t gone to plan, and the Spaniard will most likely leave E20 following relegation due to sky-high wages.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka isn’t the most popular figure at West Ham, but he will also have a salary that isn’t sustainable in the Championship, and it would be no surprise to see him leave and join a bottom-end Premier League team.
Max Kilman’s departure will perhaps be the most celebrated of them all, with the centre-back’s long-awaited exit looking just a matter of when, not if.
