Aaron Wan-Bissaka and one other West Ham United star to ‘push’ for summer exits
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is reportedly among a number of West Ham United players who will look to leave the London Stadium this summer.
Regardless of what happens in their fight for Premier League survival, a significant summer of change is expected to befall West Ham in the coming weeks.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s future as Hammers boss is firmly up in the air, as it remains to be seen whether the 52-year-old will have any interest in staying on for 2026-27.
Then there’s the playing squad, with many of them sure to prove too expensive to keep if the Irons are relegated, whilst a handful of others are sure to attract major transfer interest.
Either way, plenty of West Ham ins and outs are surely on the way, and regarding the latter of those, Wan-Bissaka may not be longed for the London Stadium.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka ‘to push for’ West Ham transfer exit
Wan-Bissaka hasn’t enjoyed a great season with West Ham, taking a notable step backwards in both his role and performances from his 2024-25 debut campaign.
Indeed, he started 35 times in the Premier League last term, but with just one more game to play this year, the right-back has made just 23 top-flight starts.
| Wan-Bissaka’s 25-26 PL stats | Result |
| Pass accuracy | 76.7% |
| Chances created | 18 |
| Dribble success | 48.5% |
| Duels won | 50.3% |
| Tackles | 33 |
However, having penned a whopping seven-year contract when he joined the Hammers in the summer of 2024, the former Manchester United man may not be an easy player to move on from.
That being said, a fresh report from talkSPORT on Tuesday has claimed that Wan-Bissaka will “push” for a move away from West Ham during the upcoming summer window.
As well as him, it’s also reported that Jean-Clair Todibo will do the same, with it being claimed that West Ham’s biggest stars will have their wages significantly reduced if they are relegated.
Wan-Bissaka & Todibo will struggle to get Premier League moves
Clubs can often view the majority of players that are part of a relegated side as being spoiled products, especially those within the league they’ve just dropped out of.
Neither Wan-Bissaka or Todibo, respectively, have set the league on fire this season, with both defenders putting in mediocre campaigns at the London Stadium.
Because of that, and perhaps particularly in Todibo’s case, they are likely to struggle getting another Premier League move this summer if that’s what they’re looking for.

Wan-Bissaka’s contract situation could make any negotiations extremely complicated, whilst Todibo surely hasn’t put enough evidence out there to suggest he’s a real quality centre-back at Premier League level.
A newly-promoted side may be Wan-Bissaka’s best chance at another top-flight transfer, whilst Todibo did enjoy some good years in France with Nice, so a return to Ligue 1 could be his best bet.
