West Ham faced with no-brainer Scott Parker decision after Nuno sack news
West Ham United could move to appoint Scott Parker.
The Hammers have a whole host of decisions to make this summer, though reports suggest that they may already have made one on the future of Nuno Espirito Santo.
It’s been reported that West Ham have entered crisis talks with the former Forest boss, with the termination of his contract the expected outcome.
Nuno’s exit would leave the Irons on the hunt for a new manager ahead of the Championship campaign, in which they simply have to be promoted.
Parker has been out of work since his Burnley departure, but could move to the London Stadium in a matter of weeks.

Could West Ham appoint Scott Parker?
Nuno is as good as gone at West Ham, with players having already turned against him towards the end of the season.
But replacing him will be the bigger task, with Alan Pardew having claimed that Parker’s name has been mentioned regarding replacing him this summer.
| Burnley | Parker |
| Wins | 36 |
| Draws | 24 |
| Losses | 28 |
| Goal difference | +20 |
Via talkSPORT, he said: “But maybe it will suit all parties for him to go and get someone experienced who knows the Championship like Scott Parker, whose name keeps coming up.
“That’s not from one source; that’s three or four sources.”

Parker failed to keep Burnley in the Premier League, though the job he did with them in the Championship should intrigue West Ham.
Parker’s Championship record at Burnley examined
You can look at the quality of the Championship in the season that Burnley were promoted all you like, but the truth is that the Clarets barely broke a sweat in their pursuit of promotion.
Parker’s defend-first mentality paid off in the end that year, with Burnley having conceded just 16 goals in their 46 league encounters, which was the fewest of any side in the division by 14.
They scored the second-most number of goals, while also suffering defeat on just two occasions, which is the type of form that West Ham will strive for.
It would not be the most exciting appointment, but given the circumstances, it may be the smartest one that West Ham could make.
