Adama Traore has to have played last game for West Ham after work ethic questioned vs Brentford
Adama Traore is reaching the end of his days at West Ham United; at least he certainly should be.
The former Fulham winger has not offered much for the Irons since making the move in the winter window.
Nuno Espirito Santo, who worked previously with the forward at Wolves, was hoping to spark the very best from the 30-year-old.
However, he proved with his cameo against Brentford that he is not up to the task of helping claw the Hammers out of the relegation fight.
As West Ham lost to Brentford, one moment in particular summed up why the Spaniard’s deal must not be extended.

How Adama Traore looked disinterested for West Ham
Traore was handed 25 minutes to produce a goal or assist for West Ham against Brentford, but instead, the 30-year-old ended up doing the opposite.
The winger must shoulder the blame for Brentford’s final goal in the 3-0 loss, the finish that ultimately put the game to bed.

Traore’s poor display did not go unnoticed either, with his work ethic being questioned by a former Crystal Palace star, Damien Delaney.
Speaking on Premier Sports’ coverage about Mikel Damsgaard’s goal, Delaney stated: “Look at Adama; he is just after coming on, and at no point does he work hard to get back and help.

“He has to just get in there. When you are in the relegation zone, stuff like that costs you. You need fellas to make that extra five yards. Adama came off the bench and offered absolutely nothing.”
Overall, the Irishman is entirely correct. The Spanish winger looked disinterested in stopping Brentford from scoring a third.
At that point of the game, the Irons could have snatched a goal back, and who knows what could have occurred following with only one goal in the game.
Nonetheless, the third goal ultimately put an end to any of that hope and it was a 3-0 loss for the Hammers.
Adama Traore was a net negative after coming on for West Ham
Substitutions are made with the intent of changing a game, but Traore did so in the completely opposite way. Other than easily allowing Damsgaard to score, the Spaniard was truly poor in his cameo.
He made just 13 touches and lost the ball seven times. He won just one of his four attempted ground duels.
He also ended the match with zero shots and no chances created. It is hard to see what he can offer the Irons from now until the end of the season.

He is still yet to supply any goal contributions in the Premier League for the Irons too.
With his deal set to expire after this campaign, there is simply no consequence for the winger, and that was evident in his pedestrian display and moment for the third goal.
Among West Ham players’ performances versus Brentford, his was up there for the worst, and he has to be out the exit door this summer.
