West Ham make shrewd season ticket announcement – fans are being rewarded
West Ham United are reducing the price of season tickets for the 2026-27 season.
Everyone connected with West Ham will want to forget about the 2025-26 campaign as quickly as possible, and that appears to be the mindset in the London Stadium boardroom too.
Wednesday saw the publishing of a message to Hammers supporters from the club’s board of directors, and it didn’t hide from the fact that last season fell comfortably below standard.
It also revealed that after meeting with Nuno Espirito Santo, the two sides have reaffirmed their commitment to one another, and that the 52-year-old will stay on as manager into next season.
That wasn’t the only big revelation to come from this letter, as West Ham have made a big financial announcement regarding season tickets.

What have West Ham said about season ticket prices?
West Ham apologies to the fans have been in order following the team’s relegation from the Premier League, with many Irons supporters carrying long-held frustrations with the management of their football club.
On-field performances and results were not good enough last season, but all the while, Hammers fans kept turning up at the London Stadium to try and support Nuno and his side as much as possible.

Their loyalty now looks set to be rewarded too, as West Ham’s board of directors message released to the club website on Wednesday has confirmed that season ticket prices are going to be slashed next season.
“We are committed to taking supporter feedback on board, and backing that up with real, significant actions,” the statement said.
“Starting with reductions of up to 30 per cent across all Season Ticket prices for next season.”
Are West Ham chiefs on the path to rebuilding fan trust?
West Ham’s 2025-26 season may have ended in bitter disappointment, but London Stadium chiefs, credit where credit is due, have made a strong start to their planning for 2026-27.
They’ve acted quickly and decisively with Nuno’s future, not allowing a ‘will he, won’t he?’ saga to drag on deep into the summer.
Now they can start identifying transfer targets safe in the knowledge of who will be in the dugout at the start of their Championship campaign, and that gives them the best chance of doing good business in the coming weeks.

On top of that, they’ve also given back to their loyal supporters for sticking with the team throughout a challenging time, and reductions of up to 30 per cent across all season tickets will save supporters vast amounts of money.
Of course, those at boardroom level, such as David Sullivan, still have a very long way to go when it comes to repairing trust and belief in the work they’re doing at the football club, but decision such as the Nuno and season tickets ones are steps in the right direction.
