West Ham United blown away by Crysencio Summerville as Leeds United transfer news emerges
West Ham are one of a number of teams to have been impressed when watching Leeds United ace Crysencio Summerville up close, according to Graeme Bailey.
The journalist reported for online publication HITC [5 April] that Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have also checked out Summerville in recent months.
Summerville is said to be attracting plenty of interest after scoring a “flurry of spectacular goals”, with West Ham among those who want to sign him.
However, it is claimed that Leeds hope to extend his contract at Elland Road beyond 2026 if they are promoted back to the Premier League.
Crysencio Summerville contract situation at Leeds United
Former Feyenoord flyer Summerville still has another couple of years to run on his current deal at Elland Road.
The Netherlands Under-21s international has been in superb form for Leeds this season, scoring 17 goals and assisting a further eight in 37 Championship outings.
Should the Whites earn promotion back to the Premier League, there is every chance they could persuade Summerville to agree fresh terms.

However, if they miss out on a return, a big decision will have to be made. Summerville is surely Leeds’ prized asset, and it may well be that they have to bring in funds through a player sale.
From a West Ham perspective, this would be a great piece of business. You only have to look at the other sides interested in him to know he is a talent.
And on the basis of the previous players signed from either Championship clubs or relegated Premier League teams, these type of transfer deals regularly seem to pay off.
