West Ham United told to agree extra £8.5m bonus package over July deal for Luis Guilherme
West Ham United may have to pay up to £8.5 million in bonuses to Palmerias if they are to sign Luis Guilherme, according to UOL.
The Hammers are said to be in “the final stages of negotiations” in a deal to sign the youngster from Brazil this summer.
Tim Steidten has agreed upon a transfer worth £25.5m but Palmerias want additional bonuses added to his contract worth up to £8.5m.
The Serie A outfit are also seeking a 20 per cent sell-on fee should he depart the London Stadium in the future.
West Ham moving closer to Luis Guilherme
The Hammers have made their pursuit of the young attacker no secret as they look to add some youthful talent to their squad.
With rumours suggesting that Mohammed Kudus could depart for Liverpool this summer [The Mirror], Guilherme could have a big role to play next season.
The Brazilian likes to come in off the wing, cut inside and get a shot off which combined with his electric pace makes him a danger.
It may be a risk signing an 18-year-old for a large fee and bringing him to the Premier League for the first time.
The difference between the Brazilian Serie A and European football could prove to be a large jump given his young age this summer.

With that being said, this move shows the intentions and ambition of Steidten who is looking to put his own imprint on the Hammers’ squad.
Julen Lopetegui could have the Brazilian youngster available to him next season should a move get completed.
