West Ham United ready to seal Jesper Lindstrom transfer after Napoli development
West Ham United have opened talks with Napoli to sign winger Jesper Lindstrom, according to InterLive.
Writing on their website (16 July), the news outlet reports that the Hammers have made an approach to strengthen their attacking options.
But they face competition from Everton to sign the Denmark international, with Fabrizio Romano sharing that Napoli are open to a sale.
West Ham ready to seal Jasper Lindstrom transfer
Julen Lopetegui knows that the Hammers need attacking options, and it’s almost certain that there will be new additions this summer.
Michail Antonio is wanted by Saudi and MLS clubs [Athletic, 15 May], while Danny Ings is wanted at Southampton and Maxwel Cornet could move on too. So far Luis Guilherme has come in, but options beyond that are scarce.
Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta all are best between midfield and attack, but with Lopetegui looking to add options it could see one of the wide options moved central.

Lindstrom wants to play more regularly and with Antonio Conte recently joining Napoli there are chances that he gets more play time, but also chances that he isn’t needed at all.
West Ham have money to spend to bolster their squad this summer, with several options linked, and Lindstrom is someone who could become a key asset to the way the new manager wants to set up at the London Stadium.
In other West Ham news, an international winger has been told he can leave his club after holding talks with the Hammers.
