West Ham transfer round-up: Sullivan to make contract offer as Elliott talks held

West Ham are aiming to have a busy transfer window ahead of the new Premier League season.

The West Ham faithful would have hoped to see more deals come through so far this summer.

However, Graham Potter’s side have only made three signings despite their poor end to the previous campaign.

Nevertheless, plenty of names are now being linked to the Hammers, with West Ham Zone providing an update on what has happened over the last 24 hours.

Fenerbahce set to make contact over Crysencio Summerville

Crysencio Summerville has not had a good time since his move to West Ham.

After impressing at Leeds United, there were high hopes for the winger.

However, the 23-year-old massively struggled under Julen Lopetegui before picking up a season-ending injury early into Potter’s reign.

With his future uncertain, Fenerbahce are said to be interested in taking Summerville on loan this summer.

Their director of football, Devin Ozek, is understood to be planning to fly to the UK in the early part of next week to hold initial meetings over a possible loan deal for the Dutchman.

Michael Forbes to join Northampton on loan

Another departure that now looks set to happen is Michael Forbes.

The defender is already a full Northern Ireland international and has spent time on loan at Bristol Rovers.

Now at 21 years old, he is a highly-rated player in West Ham’s academy. However, if Forbes is to develop further, the defender needs more first-team football.

As a result, League One outfit Northampton have been linked with a loan move for the youngster.

Callum Wilson to get an incentive-based deal at West Ham

On the incoming front, Callum Wilson is heavily linked to West Ham

The former England international was released by Newcastle United this summer after a successful spell at St. James’ Park.

Therefore, in Potter’s hunt for a new striker, the Hammers are now targeting a move for Wilson.  However, there have been concerns over his recent injury record and performances.

As a result, it has been reported that David Sullivan is set to offer Wilson a low basic salary, with most of the money linked to games and goals to combat this.

West Ham in talks to sign Elliott

Another player that West Ham are linked with is Elliott

The Liverpool playmaker had a fantastic summer and was part of the England team that won the Under-21 European Championship.

Therefore, the 22-year-old is a wanted man this summer, with multiple teams chasing the Premier League title winner.

Now, reports have claimed that the Hammers are in talks with Liverpool over a loan with an option to buy.
