West Ham told Yuri Alberto transfer fee as January swoop emerges
West Ham United have Yuri Alberto on their wishlist ahead of the January transfer window, according to UOL.
The Irons were linked with a move for the Corinthians striker in the summer [BolaVIP] and could make another attempt to sign in January, as per the Brazilian outlet on their website [8 December].
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest, another interested party, were told that the 23-year-old would cost a minimum sum of £16.6million, as opposed to the previously quoted fee of £20.8m [Trivela].

Apart from the Hammers and Forest, Southampton have also been credited with an interest in the Brazil international ahead of January.
It is easy to see why Alberto is attracting significant interest from the Premier League as he scored 31 goals and provided seven assists in 57 appearances across all competitions in the 2024 season in Brazil.
He was in red-hot form as the season drew to a close, finding the back of the net in each of his last nine Serie A appearances. With 15 goals to his name, he finished the season as the league’s joint-top scorer.
With the curtains drawn on league football in Brazil, Corinthians must now decide if they want to sell Alberto, who is contracted to them until 2027.

They are likely to find it hard to retain his services next year as at least three Premier League clubs are on his tails.
West Ham, for their part, are in need of young blood up front, with all three of their senior strikers on the wrong side of 30.
In other West Ham news, a David Moyes return is on the cards at the London Stadium in a “remarkable” twist.
