Nuno Espirito Santo eyes Adama Traore reunion as details emerge on cut-price deal

West Ham could be the landing destination for Adama Traore in January.

Adama has already been linked to West Ham this season, as the Spaniard looks set to leave Fulham at the end of his contract.

The Hammers are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements as Nuno Espirito Santo continues to come under pressure at West Ham.

Luis Guilherme could leave in January, potentially leaving the London Stadium outfit with even fewer forward options in claret and blue.

Nuno could once again link up with Adama, as a switch across the capital could be possible once the winter market opens.

Adama could complete cheap switch to West Ham

Adama could be a risky signing for West Ham, but there is pace and power in his locker that the Irons are missing right now.

Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville have qualities, but outside of that duo, there is a general lack of Premier League-standard options on the flanks.

The Spaniard, who has 258 Premier League appearances to his name, would provide experience and, despite the reservations surrounding him, would provide a point of difference in East London.

He has also worked with Nuno previously, a factor that could help push a deal over the line in the upcoming window.

Sky Sports have reported that the Hammers are interested in Adama’s signature as he looks unlikely to pen a new deal with Fulham.

Nuno and the ex-Aston Villa man could be set for a reunion on a cut-price deal as his contract ticks down at Craven Cottage.

Adama represents risk free signing for Nuno

To bring in a player with plenty of Premier League experience and undoubted ability for a cheap deal would certainly be clever.

The Irons haven’t been known for conducting smart business, and the wideman could prove to be exactly that this winter.

Adama has previously featured as a useful goalscorer and even as a wing-back under Nuno, so his addition could add a new dimension to the tactical approach in E20.

It will be interesting to see if the former Middlesbrough man comes in and whether the Hammers boss can get the best out of him in claret and blue.
