Kurt Zouma medical details emerge as West Ham United defender set for new exit
Kurt Zouma will undergo his medical with Al-Orobah on Wednesday as he edges closer to leaving West Ham, according to Al-Riyadh.
The Saudi newspaper reported via their website on Monday (26 August) that Zouma, 29, is unlikely to make his debut for the newly-promoted Saudi Pro League club in their clash with Al-Wehda on Wednesday (28 August) as he’ll be having his medical on the same day.
Nawaf Al-Aqeel shared an image via his personal X account on Monday to show Zouma at an airport in Saudi Arabia. Al-Riyadh now claims the ex-Chelsea defender will sign permanently for Al-Orobah on a two-year deal.

Kurt Zouma set for West Ham United exit before transfer deadline
Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten have made a lot of signings this summer so it’s natural that someone like Zouma will leave.
The Frenchman has already lost the captain’s armband and has been primed to complete a move to the Middle East for most of the summer.
There have to be some questions about whether or not the defender will pass this new medical he’s booked in for because he’s already failed one very recently.
Different doctors and different clubs will have different opinions so Zouma will have to be hoping that club officials at Al-Orobah will give him more leeway than those in the UAE did.

It matters to the Hammers because they will need to balance the books a bit after splashing out on the likes of Luis Guilherme, Max Kilman and Crysencio Summerville, plus the future permanent deal for Jean-Clair Todibo.
Zouma is someone who probably cannot offer much more to the Irons and a move to the Middle East suits everyone well.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are in talks to terminate this English player’s contract early.
