David Moyes stance emerges as West Ham United want to sign Manchester United star Jadon Sancho
West Ham United want to sign Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho on loan, but David Moyes is reluctant to add him to his squad according to the Daily Mail.
Writing on their website (2 January), the news outlet report that the Red Devils are “desperate to offload” Sancho during the winter window after his fall-out with manager Erik Ten Hag.
Several clubs are interested in the winger, including West Ham, but Moyes is said to be reluctant about a deal while his £250,000 per-week wages are also a major stumbling block.

“United are desperate to offload Sancho in this transfer window following a fall-out with manager Erik ten Hag that has left the £73m misfit training on his own at Carrington for the last four months,” they wrote.
“United sources say ‘multiple clubs’ are monitoring Sancho’s situation and that’s understood to include West Ham.
“However, it’s understood that David Moyes is reluctant to take the 23-year-old on loan until the end of the season, and the player’s £250,000-a-week wages would also be a stumbling block.”
No need
While Sancho is definitely a brilliant footballer when he’s at his best, but we haven’t seen that version of him for a while.
His time at Manchester United has been blighted by fitness issues, poor form and disciplinary issues which has seen him fall out publicly with the manager, all but ending his time at the club.

However at West Ham we don’t have any room for that sort of attention and trouble at the club, and that means we simply need to steer clear.
The winger options currently at the club are already very good and with Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus forming a brilliant partnership between them we don’t need anything to disrupt that.
Moyes is probably right on this occasion and while fans would love to have an entertaining alternative in the squad to make things fun, Sancho isn’t the answer and wouldn’t be worth the hassle financially either.
