Alex Kral undergoes West Ham medical abroad ahead of deadline-busting deal
Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex Kral is undergoing a West Ham medical abroad ahead of a deadline-busting move to the London Stadium, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper reports that the Hammers are close to signing the 23-year-old Czech Republic on a loan-to-buy basis for £12million.
It is understood that Kral would be West Ham’s final signing of the summer transfer window with the deadline set at 11pm tonight.
Is that enough?
David Moyes has made some good signings this summer.
Alphonse Areola, Kurt Zouma, Nikola Vlasic and Kral are all players who needed to come in to add depth to areas we needed depth in and they also have futures ahead of them.
All of them have big international hopes, all of them are experienced in top European leagues or in continental competitions.
We’re happy with the players we’ve signed but it is disappointing that Jesse Lingard isn’t coming back and it’s also really annoying that the club didn’t sign a striker.
Ever since January, Moyes has needed to replace Sebastien Haller after selling him to Ajax.
Of course, Michail Antonio has been amazing and we don’t need to replace him or anything like that. He just needs some support.
If he gets injured and is only for an extended period of time, we’re in a lot of trouble.
In other West Ham news, the club is in talks to sign this French forward on deadline day.
