Noble sends open letter to West Ham fans, shares verdict on Moyes appointment
Not much has gone right at West Ham United in the past three months.
After beating Manchester United in September, the Hammers sat third but then went on one of the worst runs in the club’s recent history – which now places them just outside the relegation zone.
Now David Moyes is back and many people will be left thinking what happened, but Mark Noble has tried his best to explain.
Noble himself has recently delivered an open letter to the West Ham fans, sharing his opinion on the recent appointment of David Moyes, and the outgoing Manuel Pellegrini.
“I know the fans are not happy with the situation we find ourselves in, but we all love and support our club and we need to get behind the manager and try to get ourselves out of this position,” he wrote on the club website.
“I know that we were going through a difficult time and the Club decided to make a decision to change manager.
“I think David is the best person for the job.”
The pressure has gotten to everyone at the London Stadium, even Noble. The Hammers captain was in the middle of controversy during the 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace when he squared up with Angelo Ogbonna and had to be dragged away.
Moyes has clearly got a massive job to do, and Noble needs to stay calm as he also has a big role to play alongside the new boss – starting with Bournemouth on Wednesday evening.
