West Ham should not accept any cash + player deal for Declan Rice
Chelsea are willing to offer midfielder Ross Barkley and striker Armando Broja as part of the deal to bring West Ham midfielder Declan Rice to Stamford Bridge, according to 90min.
The England international has been linked with a number of top clubs in the country for a move in the summer transfer window.
The report stated that the Blues’ first offer was rejected but they are now looking to return with an offer of cash plus players.

The offer will be an interesting one as the Hammers have already tabled an offer to sign Broja in the ongoing transfer window.
Not the deal you want to make
There is a reason why Rice is one of the most talked about midfielders in the Premier League recently. The England international has been one of the most important players for both West Ham and the national team.
For the Three Lions, he was one of the star players in an incredible journey in the Euro 2020 where they lost in the final to Italy.
On the other hand, he also contributed massively to the West Ham team that played in the Europa League semi-finals in the recently concluded season.
Having a young player with such a calm head on his shoulders is a rarity and the Hammers are clearly lucky to have him at the club, producing outstanding performances week in, week out.

The upcoming potential offer of Chelsea for Rice might look like a tempting one, especially if it will feature an opportunity to sign Broja who has been West Ham’s preferred option to bolster the attack.
However, the club’s top-tier management should ensure that either they keep hold of a player who is at the cusp of becoming the best defensive midfielder in Europe or get the best possible sum to reinforce the team which will be significantly weakened if the 23-year-old leave.
The Irons must not buckle under pressure.
