West Ham face Callum Wilson dilemma as exit could be announced in weeks
West Ham could be set to part ways with Callum Wilson.
Relegation remains a strong possibility for West Ham, who, after 11 games of the season, find themselves third bottom of the Premier League.
Goals have been hard to come by at the London Stadium, with the Irons still yet to find a striker capable of scoring enough to take them to the next level.
Wilson joined on a free from Newcastle in the summer with hopes of rectifying that concern, though with just two goals, he has failed to do so, and his future is now up in the air.

Callum Wilson could leave for nothing in January
Given his age and injury record, it made sense for Wilson to be handed a one-year deal by West Ham.
Since his move to the London Stadium, the Englishman has made just nine appearances across all competitions, with two goals in three Premier League starts.
However, the short-term nature of the deal means that Wilson will be able to negotiate a pre-contract with a club abroad in January, with the view of moving there in the summer.
Out of all of Nuno Espirito Santo’s striking options, Wilson looks to be the most reliable for goals, and that may play into the Hammers’ mind when it comes to deciding his future.
West Ham could look to extend his deal, or look to sell him in January with the aim of using any finances from his exit on the signing of a new striker.
Otherwise, the former Newcastle man is likely to be on the lookout for a new club again as a free agent.

Signing a striker will be a priority for West Ham
Regardless of what the situation is with Wilson, it’s crucial that the Irons recruit a new number nine this January.
Jarrod Bowen is West Ham’s top scorer with three goals, with Wilson their highest-scoring striker this season.
Franculino Dju has been linked with a move to West Ham, while several other European strikers will likely be mooted with a switch to the London Stadium.
Given how competitive the bottom teams seem to be this season, the Irons may not get as lucky as they did last year if they fail to bring in a proven goal scorer.
