Tim Steidten could finally unlock Guilherme as new West Ham transfer lined up
West Ham could unlock Luis Guilherme’s potential if Tim Steidten signs former teammate Yuri Alberto in January.
The Hammers signed the 18-year-old forward from Corinthians during the summer on a five-year deal worth £25million [Sky Sports].
It is safe to say it hasn’t been the dream start to life in the Premier League for the Brazilian after featuring in just 11 minutes since signing.
The Irons now appear to be intent on bringing another forward in from the Serie A outfit which could benefit the youngster’s growth at the London Stadium.
West Ham could unlock Luis Guilherme if Yuri Alberto signs
Given the current issues that Julen Lopetegui has had in the striker position this season, bringing in a new option could be a wise move.
Alberto has already publicly admitted his interest in playing in England which could see Steidten table a bid of £20.8m ahead of the January window [Trivela].
The 23-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided four assists across 26 appearances so far this campaign which is certainly a positive return for Corinthians.
If the former Zenit man completes a move to East London, he could link up with his former teammate Guilherme and help get the best out of each other.
Hammers fans can’t truly blame the young forward for struggling since signing considering he has moved to a new country as a teenager.

Bringing Alberto to the London Stadium would provide support for the winger and vice versa which can only be a positive for the pair.
Steidten put a lot of faith in Guilherme with his £25m fee and if there is a way to get more out of him, completing a deal could be a no-brainer.
