Summerville will be delighted with Paqueta development at West Ham
Crysencio Summerville could have been handed a major boost to his career at West Ham.
The Dutchman signed for the Hammers in the summer for £25million [BBC Sport] but has failed to have a telling impact at the London Stadium so far.
Despite winning the Championship Player of the Year last campaign, the 23-year-old has started just six Premier League games and has scored just one goal for the Irons.
The attacking midfielder could now find his feet in East London as Lucas Paqueta looks likely to depart.

The Brazil international has been a stalwart in the Hammers’ side since signing from Lyon in 2022 but could now be on his way out.
Julen Lopetegui hasn’t been afraid to bench the 27-year-old which has seen him make three substitute appearances in the Premier League so far.
The former Milan midfielder is ready to quit the London Stadium with a view to returning to Brazil with the Irons open to letting him leave [GOAL].
This would certainly leave a hole in the attacking areas in East London which could provide Summerville with the perfect opportunity to step up.
The former Leeds star has so much technical ability, has an eye for goal and is excellent at creating goals and just needs to adapt to Premier League football.
With Paqueta out of the picture, the Netherlands Under-21s international would be likely to start more regularly and have a more telling impact.
There is no doubt that it would be a blow to lose the Brazilian but there would be a silver lining for Lopetegui’s summer signing.
