Graham Potter could still agree to sell ‘powerful’ West Ham star after deadline day
Graham Potter’s business may not be done in the transfer market at West Ham.
The Hammers boss moved to bring in a number of fresh faces at the London Stadium after a difficult start to the Premier League campaign.
This most recently saw Igor Julio join on loan from Brighton to firm up the back line, after defensive midfielder Soungoutou Magassa arrived from Monaco.
Potter also welcomed Mateus Fernandes, who transferred from Southampton, making his debut in the superb win against Nottingham Forest.
With this influx of fresh faces, the Irons could be set to activate a sale from East London, despite the English transfer window now being closed.

Guido Rodriguez nearly left West Ham this summer
It was clear throughout the off-season that the claret and blue outfit were keen to revolutionise their midfield before deadline day.
This unsurprisingly looked likely to end with Guido Rodriguez departing West Ham after a difficult spell since signing in E20 from Real Betis.
Rodriguez was once described as ‘powerful’ by The Athletic journalist Andy Mitten, and the World Cup winner looked to be a coup on a free transfer last summer.
It is fair to say that Julen Lopetegui failed to impress as manager after signing Rodriguez, something which could also be said of the Argentina international.
This led to the defensive midfielder being strongly linked with an exit throughout the summer, although a move never went through in the end.
Even with the transfer being closed on these shores, there is still a chance that Potter moves on the flop signing in the coming days.

Guido Rodriguez could agree Saudi Arabia switch
Although the window may be shut, there is no real need for a direct replacement for the Argentine now that Magassa has come in from Ligue 1.
As a result, finding any bidder could prove to be worthwhile for the Irons, although it will have to be from a select number of countries where the market remains open.
This could see a move to Saudi Arabia on the cards over the international break, with the Pro League’s window not shutting until 23 September.
Prior links already exist with the Middle East for Rodriguez, but there are alternative options for the midfielder to find a route out of the London Stadium.
A return to Mexico could also be a possibility with the Liga MX window now open until 13 September, while a switch to Turkyie could be on the table until 11 September.
There are plenty of options, but it will be down to Potter to push for a move in the hope that the former Betis man finally exits the club.
