West Ham want to sign Sheffield Wednesday’s attacking sensation Bailey Cadamarteri, according to The Star.
The report claims that along with the Hammers, Brentford are also keeping tabs on the 16-year-old.
He’s eligible to sign a professional contract when he turns 17 which will be in May 2022, and other clubs are likely to enter the fray for the highly-rated English striker.
The EFL club will be looking to put a contract on his table to sign this summer, possibly before his 17th birthday.

With there being a recent overhaul in the youth system, David Moyes would be keen on having more players representing the club at different age levels.
The Leeds-born centre-forward is rated very highly at the club and there’s a real risk of losing him as sides in the Premier League are keeping tabs on this situation.
In the aforementioned Star report, Cadamarteri is labelled as a “talented” striker with an extremely high ceiling.
The fact that he’s been at the club since he was nine will make it difficult for any club to prise him away.
However, the lure of being at a Premier League club and potentially getting the chance to play in the English top flight in the next few years could be enough to tempt him to leave.
