West Ham target Nayef Aguerd on way to London, confirms Vahid Halilhodzic
Morocco head coach Vahid Halilhodzic has confirmed that West Ham-linked Nayef Aguerd is on his way to London.
The centre-back has been long linked with a move to the London Stadium and it seems like his move is now coming to fruition.
He has been relieved of his international duties so that he can fly to London, with the reasons for it still not confirmed by the head coach.
He said, “Aguerd was released from the Morocco squad to fly to London this Monday.”

The defender has been linked with a move to West Ham since last season and it’s good that the club are finally getting his deal over the line.
Kurt Zouma lacked a consistent centre-back partner throughout the course of the 2021/22 season, but he finally will be getting one in the Moroccan.
Hopefully, Aguerd adapts to the Premier League well and can hit the ground running in the first few months.
Players coming from Ligue 1 have sometimes struggled to adapt to the English top flight and we’re hoping that history does not repeat itself with him.
