West Ham target Andrea Belotti wants Premier League switch

Italian striker Andrea Belotti reportedly wants to move to a Premier League club amid links to West Ham.

According to the Sun, the Hammers, along with Everton and Newcastle have been offered a chance to sign the 44-cap Italy international.

The 28-year-old snubbed an extension at Torino for a new challenge and his representatives are looking to get him his desired move to England.

Last resort

The Hammers are currently pursuing deals for both Armando Broja and Gianluca Scamacca and the two seem plausible, as things stand.

If David Moyes has decided that either of them is what he wants, then the club must do everything they can to deliver his targets to him.

However, if for some reason, neither deal successfully gets over the line, then they can very well turn to Belotti to address their attacking woes.

The Italy international has been a proven goal scorer in Serie A for a number of years and also won the Euro 2020 crown with his national side last summer.

While he may not be the most clinical of players, he knows how to get the job done if the system is built around him and Moyes would enjoy working with him.

The Declan Rice factor is crucial in doing any deal with Chelsea and West Ham certainly will have that in mind before signing Broja.

If the Blues want Rice included in that deal, it’s time to end that chase and concentrate on Scamacca or Belotti as they cannot afford to lose their best player.
