Reliable journalist shares if Chelsea want West Ham to include Declan Rice in Armando Broja deal
Chelsea are reportedly not looking for West Ham to include Declan Rice in the deal to sign Armando Broja this summer.
According to Eurosport journalist Dean Jones, there is interest in the England international, but the Blues are in no rush to sign him this summer.
They want to let Broja leave on loan but will sanction a permanent sale if the Hammers are hell-bent to sign the 20-year-old.
Speaking on the Football Terrace, Jones said, “I think West Ham know Chelsea will knock on the door for Declan Rice.
“Chelsea know we need to maintain good relations with West Ham. We want him to stay loan but if not get the most money without rattling any cages.
“Rice will not be used in a swap deal as Chelsea would want him next summer as their long-term future option.”

Keep Rice at all costs
Rice is the one player West Ham cannot afford to lose this summer.
The club are finally doing what they should in the transfer market and are getting the desired players over the line with Broja set to follow.
They cannot strengthen in other departments and lose their best player in the window as it will be extremely counter-productive.
However, it does not seem that Rice wants a move this summer and we could be seeing him leave 12 months down the line if the Hammers do not qualify for the Champions League.
They will certainly aspire to finish top four and while they’re going to be massive underdogs, David Moyes has got this side to punch above their weight.
Hopefully, the club can now get the Broja deal over the line sooner rather than later.
