West Ham send scouts to watch Bordeaux striker Alberth Elis play v PSG
West Ham reportedly sent scouts to the PSG v Bordeaux to track Honduras striker Alberth Elis.
According to ESPN journalist and commentator Matt Spiro, the 26-year-old is on the radar of a number of clubs in the summer, including the Hammers.
They even took the time to watch him play against a quality PSG side, but may not have been able to gauge too much as he was on the wrong side of a 3-0 scoreline.

Speaking on the Ligue 1 world feed, Spiro said, “Alberth Elis is a transfer target for many sides this summer. West Ham are among the clubs watching the Honduras international today.”
Worth it?
Elis isn’t a household name in European football because he does not play for one of the top clubs.
However, if one was to ask ardent Ligue 1 fans, they would wax lyrical of how good a player he really is.
Playing for the league’s worst side does not get you too many goal-scoring chances, but his numbers this season are still quite decent.

In 14 starts he’s already managed to score nine goals and provide a solitary assist – which is almost a goal involvement per start.
At West Ham, he will be made the focal point of the attack and would have a number of chances to find the back of the net in most games.
Whether or not David Moyes and the club scouts deem him the perfect fit, remains to be seen.
In other West Ham news, the club want to sign a ‘Brilliant’ Chelsea player who will tick a major box for David Moyes in the summer.
