West Ham in talks with agent of Juventus defender Luca Pellegrini

West Ham are reportedly in close contact with the agent of Juventus defender Luca Pellegrini over a summer move.

According to the June 19 edition of Italian newspaper Gazetta Dello Sport, the 23-year-old wants to leave the Turin club this summer.

His agent Vincenzo Raiola is looking for new destinations for his client with a Premier League switch a very good possibility.

Fulham have also been credited with an interest for the 23-year-old.

Makes sense

The Hammers have been looking for an upgrade on Aaron Cresswell from the past few windows and can finally get their man in Pellegrini.

The Italian has never found a home at Juventus and that’s not entirely down to him as there’s been plenty of disarray at the club.

At the London Stadium, he would walk into the first team and would definitely be an upgrade on the Hammers vice captain, whose best days are behind him.

The 23-year-old is nearly a decade younger than Cresswell and is a player that Moyes or whoever the West Ham manager is, will be there for the foreseeable future.

His injury record is also not too bad and he should not take too much time to adapt to the Premier League.

In a face-off, the Irons can easily beat Fulham to secure the services of a player as they can offer higher wages as well as European football.

In other West Ham news, ExWHUemployee claims that the Hammers are confident of beating Manchester City to sign an attacking sensation this summer.
