West Ham find it tough to complete Kurt Zouma deal – Sky Sports

West Ham United are finding it tough to complete the deal to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

The Sky Sports journalist has shared the update on Sunday, with the Irons struggling to pay the required fee and the wages.

It is also reported that the Hammers remain in talks with Fiorentina over a move for Nikola Milenkovic this month.

Sheth shared the major update on his personal Twitter account this morning, which is no doubt a big blow to the Irons.

“Zouma to West Ham tough deal due to fee & wages.

“Zouma open to move but happy to stay at Chelsea, contract to 2023. West Ham remain in talks with Fiorentina over Nikola Milenkovic.”

Problem.

We still find it impossible that we can be struggling to pay such transfer fees, especially when our rivals are spending more.

The signs all point as GSB, who once again could go through a window with splashing the cash on the players that David Moyes wants.

Where has the cash gone that we recovered for Sebastien Haller in January? Where have the wages left by Felipe Anderson gone?

Zouma has only just recovered his own Chelsea career in the past year, so he won’t be on huge, out of this world wages.

As for the fee, £25million has been reportedly demanded, and that isn’t exactly gigantic for a proven 26-year-old who has won nearly all there is to win.

Hopefully, we can find a breakthrough soon, if not, there will be big protests coming the way of GSB this month.
