West Ham could close in on Divock Origi swoop towards end of window
West Ham could close in on signing Liverpool striker Divock Origi in late August, claims ExWHUEmployee.

Liverpool are understood to be looking for a £15 million to £20 million fee in order to part ways with the 26-year-old.
Via his personal Twitter account, the reliable Hammers insider said, when asked about the truth behind Origi’s links with West Ham, “He is someone I’ve reported interest on before but I don’t think a move is close at this point but could be towards end of window.”
Last resort
Origi has the knack of stepping up in big games and scoring the important winning goals, but he’s not established himself as being a reliable striker who will start week in and week out and win matches for his side.
However, should we fail to sign Tammy Abraham and any of our other targets, and Origi is still available, it makes sense to sign him at the aforementioned price.

Given his age, it won’t be that steep an investment and David Moyes could have a mobile and extremely hard-working striker among his ranks, which will be valuable if we are to progress in the latter stages of the Europa League and possibly mount another challenge for the Champions League spots.
He’s a player who’s been called “Outstanding” by Jurgen Klopp after he won the Reds the Merseyside derby in 2019 [Sportskeeda], and he could help us get one over our rivals as well should we need him to step up.
