West Ham confirmed starting XI for semi-final v Eintracht Frankfurt

West Ham have confirmed their starting XI for their Europa League semi-final first-leg showdown this evening [April 28] against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Irons will look to use their London Stadium advantage against the Bundesliga side ahead of the return leg in Germany.

Confirmed prior to kick-off on Twitter, David Moyes has decided to bring Declan Rice, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio back into the team after resting them against Chelsea.

Kurt Zouma also starts after his injury concerns.

West Ham are preparing to play a European semi-final, who would have thought that was possible at the start of the season? They are absolutely massive.

Moyes and the players will be right up for this one as will all of the fans inside the London Stadium who will need to be the twelfth man from the first to the last minute of the game.

Frankfurt are undoubtedly the toughest test the Irons have faced throughout the whole competition but that is expected in this late stage of the competition and to be the best, you have to beat the best.

Craig Dawson being the only fit senior centre-back in the squad might prove difficult but the Irons have overcome many injury issues this campaign.

Hopefully, Moyes resting several players in the loss against Chelsea proves its worth today. The Premier League is done now, it could end now with the Hammers not playing their final several games as far as the fans and seemingly the boss and players are concerned.

Winning the Europa League not only see’s the Irons win a trophy but also in the Champions League next season but first, a huge game in east London awaits.
