Paul Merson predicts the result of Burnley v West Ham
West Ham will face Burnley in the Premier League at Turf Moor on Sunday.
Ahead of the match, Paul Merson has predicted the outcome of the game, and he thinks the Hammers will win the tie 2-0.
Burnley are struggling badly in the league this season, but a trip away to Turf Moor is always a difficult challenge.

“Burnley are a hard team to beat and they most likely won’t go down this season,” wrote Merson for SportsKeeda.
“A lot depends on Cornet’s fitness this weekend. He wreaked havoc against Newcastle and I thought Burnley would go on to win. After he picked up his knock, their attack disappeared.
“This is another big game for West Ham. They got a massive result against Chelsea last week and have been excellent this season. West Ham have a big team and have been very strong at set-pieces. You need to defend well when you go to Burnley and I think David Moyes will pick up another victory here.”
Momentum
The Clarets are in fighting for survival this season. They are in the relegation zone, along with Newcastle United and Norwich City.
Sean Dyche’s side has picked up just one win in their last nine games in the Premier League, and they are without a win in their last four games.
They are heading into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Newcastle.
David Moyes made several changes to the side in their 1-0 defeat against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday in the Europa League.
It was pleasing to see Moyes giving opportunities to so many young talents in a dead-rubber game, which indicates just how good the Hammers academy has been.
It also reflects Moyes’ willingness to groom young players.
However, the focus now shifts back to the Premier League where a tough top-four race is on the hands.
The Hammers did remarkably well to win 3-2 against Chelsea in their previous league game, and they should be aiming to avoid a third straight away defeat in the Premier League on Sunday.
