ExWHUemployee: Jesse Lingard & agent want West Ham move in January
ExWHUemployee has shared that Jesse Lingard and his agent both want a January move to West Ham United.
The Telegraph have shared that the Irons are preparing an offer in the winter window to bolster their squad.
Contract talks have collapsed with Manchester United, and they will need to sell in January or risk losing Lingard for nothing in the summer.
Sharing with the West Ham Way in the past 24 hours, Ex shared the update that everyone has been waiting for.
“As revealed by Ex in recent weeks, Lingard is set to leave Manchester United and a move to West Ham has been edging closer,” he said.
“However, we can now exclusively reveal that Lingard has made it clear to West Ham today that he wishes to return to the club during the January transfer window.
“His brother, who is also his agent, is keen on the move and we can confirm the club are eager to complete quickly due to Said Benrahma leaving for the African Cup of Nations next year.”
Get it done.
There are no excuses left now.
Lingard is open to the move, so is his agent and everyone at the Irons are ready to get this one over the line at the London Stadium.
David Moyes remained coy on the subject this week, but deep down he will know that another January move for the England international could make a massive difference.
Nikola Vlasic has failed to hit the heights yet since his summer move, and with Said Benrahma leaving for the African Cup of Nations next year, reinforcements are needed.
Everything should be in place, now it is just about agreeing on a fee with Manchester United – something that should be straight forward.
Here we go.
