Lucas Paqueta reacts to West Ham farewell message as exit announced
West Ham are set for a busy week of transfers, predominantly on the outgoing front.
West Ham have less than a week to finalise any transfer business this winter, and that goes for both players coming in and leaving the London Stadium.
In regard to the former, the Hammers remain optimistic that a deal could be struck for Adama Traore after a bid was made for the Fulham winger, while for the latter, several players have been linked with departures.
One of those exits was announced on Monday night, with a new message sent to West Ham supporters.

Guido Rodriguez sends message after West Ham exit
Guido Rodriguez’s exit from West Ham has been coming for a while now, but it was officially announced on Monday evening.
The Argentine midfielder has signed a six-month contract with LaLiga outfit Valencia, who agreed terms on a transfer for an undisclosed fee.
After the move was announced, Rodriguez took to Instagram to share a message to the Hammers to thank them for the support since his move here back in 2024.
He said: “Thanks to all the staff with whom I spent the day-to-day, it was a pleasure. Thank you, West Ham, for these years of work and respect.”
Several West Ham stars have liked his post on Instagram, including Jarrod Bowen, Ollie Scarles and Lucas Paqueta, who looks set for an exit from the London Stadium himself in the coming days.
What business are West Ham expected to do before 2 February?
The transfer window slams shut at 7pm on Monday night, meaning there are now just six days for the Hammers to bring more players through the door, and after Leeds secured yet another point against Everton, they need to.
West Ham have made an approach to sign Isak Hien, according to reports, which would be a deal that would make a lot of sense when taking into account their woeful defensive record.
In terms of outgoings, Paqueta’s move is likely to be sanctioned, while Crysencio Summerville has also been linked with an exit from West Ham.
Roma are said to have made a verbal offer to the Hammers for his services, though it seems unlikely that they would sell him at this stage in the window, especially given how few options Nuno Espirito Santo has in the wide areas of his squad.
