Liverpool injury news on Thiago and Ryan Gravenberch emerge ahead of West Ham United clash

Liverpool midfielders Thiago Alcantara is expected to miss the game against West Ham on Sunday (24 September) in the Premier League, according to Claret and Hugh.

The reliable news outlet reported on Friday (22 September) that summer signing Ryan Gravenberch is likely to be fit for the game at Anfield.

The Hammers will be looking to get back the momentum after Manchester City ended their unbeaten start to the new season.

Tough one

Liverpool are not the immovable objects that they used to be at Anfield in the past few seasons.

They’ve shown plenty of lapses in the past few seasons and teams are no longer as fearful of visiting them on Merseyside.

That said, the Reds will still be the favourites and David Moyes will be looking for his attacking players to be clinical on the counter attack.

This is a style that’s suited the Hammers and it’s seen them get points against teams that otherwise seemed highly unlikely.

James Ward-Prowse has also been in exceptional form while Edson Alvarez is expected to be fit in time for this one.

Mohammed Kudus showed in Europe why he was signed this summer and hopefully, the West Ham fans can watch him finding the back of the net again.

In other West Ham news, a Hammers star has the same conversation with a manager as James Maddison did before he joined Tottenham Hotspur.
