Jason Cundy laughs as he trolls West Ham fan with what he said about Jarrod Bowen on talkSPORT

Jason Cundy and Jamie O’Hara were left in hysterics after they trolled a West Ham United fan about Jarrod Bowen leaving in January.

The Hammers captain has been left out of Lee Carsley’s England squad for their upcoming Nations League games despite him being one of Julen Lopetegui’s best players this season.

The winger stuck with West Ham this term despite being linked with multiple moves away [i News, 5 August] during the summer window.

Speaking live on talkSPORT (9 October) Cundy decided to troll a fan who said Bowen could be leaving the Hammers next season.

“At this minute in time he [Bowen] may well be leaving West Ham next season,” the fan said.

To which Cundy instantly replied: “He should leave in January…”

This then sparked a reaction from the fan who asked the former Chelsea defender “Why are you saying that” which left both Cundy and O’Hara, who were giving each other cheeky glances as they wound the fan up, in hysterics.

West Ham United need to keep Jarrod Bowen

Bowen is by far and away one of West Ham’s best players. The attacker was made the club’s captain at the start of the campaign and has taken on the role well.

He’s arguably been their best player this season as the the Hammers have fallen well below par in their start to the campaign.

Indeed, they managed to get their first top-flight home win of the season against Ipswich after a 4-1 victory thanks to an impressive outing from their captain but one result doesn’t excuse the poor effort shown across the rest of the term.

West Ham’s fans were intrigued by their club’s window as Lopetegui managed to bolster his ranks by bringing in nine different players.

While Jean Clair-Todibo and Max Kilman have found their way into the Hammers’ starting XI and have helped bolster their defensive ranks, it feels like a lot more could come from someone such as Crysencio Summerville.

Bowen is key to West Ham’s team and without him, they’d no doubt be far worse off than what they already find themselves.
