West Ham United are ready to push for a new midfielder and left-back to finish their transfer business this summer, according to Alex Crook.
The talkSPORT correspondent has reported that GSBK are ready to put their foot on the gas to give David Moyes what he wants, with Club Brugge man Hans Vanaken the midfielder of choice.
A first bid of £8.4million has been rejected, but another one is already being prepared as they look to get a deal over the line for the Belgian playmaker.
Speaking live on talkSPORT, as shared on their website, Crook shared the latest news coming from the London Stadium as a busy two weeks is ahead.
“West Ham are going to be busy in the next couple of weeks,” he said.
“The owners are committed this summer to trying to give David Moyes all the resources to have another tilt at European football. We know they are interested in Hans Vanaken, a central midfielder currently playing for Club Brugge in Belgium.

“Their initial bid of €10m (£8.4m) was rejected, my understanding is they are preparing to up that bid.
Get it done.
West Ham United are not messing around, and that is the way it has to be.
Moyes will be delighted to have been backed heavily by the board this summer, with numerous major deals completed, Thilo Kehrer the latest of those.
If Vanaken and another left-back be brought in, that would finally give us the squad depth that we have been craving for years at the London Stadium.
GSBK will have seen that last year, especially during our European run, the squad wasn’t ready in terms of numbers, with injuries and suspensions taking their toll in the end.
With big depth, we could have not only have reached the Europa League final, but likely have lifted it too, and that will be playing on their minds.
Less than two weeks are left in this window, and it is time to put our foot on the gas, and more importantly open that chequebook to get these deals done.
Here We Go.
