ExWHUemployee: Nathan Holland may have played last game for West Ham

West Ham attacker Nathan Holland may have played his last game for the club, according to ExWHUemployee.

Holland, who is out on loan at Oxford United, is unlikely to have a future at the London Stadium.

The 23-year-old has featured 24 times for the League One outfit in all competitions this season and his deal at West Ham runs out this June.

Ex said, “It seems like Nathan Holland has played his last game for the club. I hope not.”

Farewell?

Holland is a talented individual who could have a bright future elsewhere, but is unlikely to be at the club for too long.

He even impressed Bianca Westwood on Sky Sports during a pre-season game in August 2021 when she labelled him “wonderful”.

At 23, the expectations were to see him progress to such a level that he would be able to knock on the manager’s door for regular first-team minutes.

However, despite a number of loan spells, that has not happened and the best thing for him could be a fresh start.

As his contract runs out in the summer, he will be a free agent and Oxford could snap him up without needing to pay a transfer fee.

Whether he proves his mettle until the end of the season, there could even be Championship interest in his services.

For him to get a new deal at the club, something extraordinary would probably have to happen and we cannot see that transpiring any time soon.
