ExWHUemployee: Fresh West Ham takeover bid coming

West Ham United are preparing for fresh bids from two parties interested in a takeover, according to ExWHUemployee.

It has been reported by the Daily Mail that a £400million offer has already been rejected by David Gold and Sullivan.

Phillip Beard, leader of the interested consortium doesn’t appear to have been phased by that development though and could return with a higher bid.

Writing on the West Ham Way Patreon on Saturday morning, Ex shared the update based on contact with three separate contacts.

“I have been contacted by three separate people telling me that the consortium (and another potential interested party) are preparing to make another bid for the club after their initial one being, as they describe ‘rejected’,” he wrote.

“Now how legitimate these ‘offers’ are, are still disputed, as David Sullivan is adamant he never saw proof of funds and that this is all talk.”

Well, well, well.

Things are really starting to heat up, and GSB are going to be put under real pressure this summer to keep their spot.

Thomas Skinner has been close to the project from the beginning with PAI and has shared his own update after personal contact.

The businessman suggested that Beard and his group want to invest in the squad, something he suggested is “desperately” needed.

What makes this even more interesting is that there is said to be another party interested, which could throw things up in the air, and even turn this into an auction.

GSB are in a position where both of those parties will need to outbid each other before meeting a suggested inflated asking price, no doubt.
