ExWHUemployee: Demba Ba not joining West Ham backroom staff

ExWHUemployee claims that Demba Ba is not working for West Ham after the former striker was spotted in the club’s merchandise.

This led to many assuming that he was part of the club’s backroom team, with a renowned Hammers fan account also tweeting that he was with the Under-18s.

Ba himself took to Twitter to praise West Ham after a picture of him was shared.

When asked about his involvement in the club, Ex wrote, “No it was a 3 day visit just to see how things are done here. I think he did a similar thing with Newcastle.”

No London Stadium return

Ba is a player who’s certainly liked by the London Stadium faithful.

Having him back as a coach for the seniors or the juniors would’ve been something that they would’ve liked.

However, it seems like he was just dropping by to say a few hellos to some of his old colleagues.

That does not mean that the club will not have their doors open for him in the future.

The Hammers have asked ex players to work as coaches, ambassadors, or even scouts on a number of occasions.

Right now, they could also use Ba’s services in the final third as Michail Antonio remains the only recognised striker for them.

In other West Ham news, the club want to sign a ‘Brilliant’ Chelsea player who will tick a major box for David Moyes.
