Lewis Jones predicts West Ham clash v Southampton
Lewis Jones has backed West Ham United to come out on top in a Premier League thriller against Southampton.
The Sky Sports guru has predicted that it will finish 3-2 to the Irons this afternoon as they return to action after the break.
David Moyes will want a response from the draw with Palace, and is armed with three new signings to do just that.

Writing in his Sky Sports column, Jones predicted an afternoon packed with action on the south coast for both teams.
“Goals are on the menu here,” he said.
“My crumb of hope in that regard comes from their ability to defend properly, something West Ham will punish if given the opportunity.
“Jarrod Bowen has been an unsung hero in this West Ham side. Since he signed in February 2020.”

One to watch?
Bowen hasn’t had the best of starts in terms of goal and assists returns this season, but it isn’t without the want of trying.
The former Hull man has created more chances than anyone at the London Stadium since signing in this squad, and he will be hoping to get his season flying today.
Moyes will be wanting a much more solid performance in defence after conceding two against Palace and the potential debut of Kurt Zouma could play a big factor in that.
Jones doesn’t believe so though, backing Southampton to score twice in defeat at St Mary’s this afternoon.
At this stage of the season, the points are all that matter, but the quicker the performances come along with that, the better.
