Jarrod Bowen returns as David Moyes makes two changes - West Ham confirm starting XI v Brighton

West Ham manager David Moyes has made two changes to the starting line-up to play Brighton and Hove Albion at the London Stadium on Wednesday night.

Ahead of kick-off in the Premier League fixture, the Hammers confirmed on their Twitter account that 28-year-old Arthur Masuaku has dropped to the bench, while Aaron Cresswell missed out completely.

Jarrod Bowen and Vladimir Coufal come in as their replacements.

Bounce back

West Ham will be eager to get back on track this evening following successive Premier League defeats to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City.

David Moyes’s side have remained fourth in the Premier League table despite their struggles, but a third loss in a row would give Arsenal the opportunity to overtake them against Manchester United tomorrow (2 December).

With a clash against Chelsea to come at the weekend (4 December), three points really would be vital for the Hammers to help them avoid getting stuck in a rut.

Visitors Brighton started the season in excellent form, winning four of their opening five matches.

However they are winless in eight games since then and drew 0-0 with Leeds United on Saturday, leaving them ninth in the table.

Since their promotion to the Premier League in 2017, the Seagulls have become a bogey team for West Ham; the Hammers have failed to win any of their last eight matches against them.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers are one of a number of teams chasing this £30m-rated striker.
