West Ham may have Taty Castellanos hope as Marco Silva update emerges
West Ham United are expected to face a battle to keep Taty Castellanos at the London Stadium.
Given their relegation to the Championship, a whole host of regulars from the previous campaign are expected to depart this summer.
Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes are among the most high-profile players linked with exits, though they are not alone.
Castellanos has been linked with an exit to Fulham, having impressed in his short spell at the London Stadium.
And while West Ham seemed resigned to losing him, that feeling may have changed.

Marco Silva exit could have impact on Taty Castellanos deal
Raul Jimenez has had another fine campaign for Fulham, but the Cottagers are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements.
That initially led them to Ricardo Pepi, though that deal collapsed, with a move for Castellanos then on the cards.
| Castellanos’ 25-26 PL stats | Result |
| Goals per 90 | 0.39 |
| Shots per 90 | 3.32 |
| Chances created per 90 | 0.77 |
| Aerial duels won | 42.9% |
| Average match rating | 7.0 |
It seemed as though that deal was likely, but recent reports stating that Marco Silva is closing in on a move to Benfica could scupper that.

The agreement is said to be at the final stages, and if Silva were to leave Craven Cottage, it’s likely that their transfer plans would shift.
Castellanos future could decide West Ham transfer plans
Pablo is almost certain to be going nowhere this summer, mainly due to the fact that he failed to impress in the Premier League.
If Castellanos were to stay, that would leave West Ham with two strikers who should be more than competent in the Championship
Then the Irons would likely prioritise other areas of the squad first, depending on the players who are to leave before the start of the season.
As of right now, the Argentine seems unlikely to stay, but he may be able to be persuaded should West Ham conduct early business.
