The Sheffield United man could prove to be an ideal option within Nuno Espirito Santo’s side as he looks to build a new-look squad.

That comes as El Hadji Malick Diouf continues to be linked with an exit, as Manchester United eye a potential move.

Key decision makers at the London Stadium see the Englishman as an ideal replacement for the 21-year-old if he is to depart.
Diouf has been linked to Man United, which could see the Irons realise their interest in the Blades star ahead of the new campaign.
Diouf set to leave West Ham after relegation
Relegation from the Premier League has ultimately left the claret and blue outfit without a foot to stand on in the hopes of keeping all of their key players.
Diouf is certainly one of those who will attract interest just 12 months after his move from Slavia Prague.
He has received mixed reviews, but that hasn’t stopped both Man United and Portuguese giants Porto at this early stage of the summer.
Online outlet Senego reported on Thursday that the Red Devils have maintained their interest, while the Dragons have now entered the race.
They want to take advantage of the Irons’ relegation to the Championship, but will face competition to land his signature.
As frustrating as that may be for the London Stadium club, it is encouraging to see that they already have an alternative in mind.
Burrows would also be a useful asset in the second tier, so is more than an adequate replacement should he move from Bramall Lane.
