Taty Castellanos could leave West Ham United this summer.

The Hammers have two games left to secure Premier League survival, though it still remains out of their hands given that Tottenham sit two points above them.

West Ham are in line for a huge summer transfer window regardless of the outcome, though it will only be amplified if they drop into the Championship.

Should that be the case, several Irons stars will be expected to head for the exit doors, with a handful already linked with exits.

Castellanos could be one who departs the London Stadium, with a return to South America on the cards.

Castellanos hasn’t had the impact many had hoped he would have at West Ham, with just four Premier League goals since his winter arrival.

That hasn’t aided the Hammers’ chances of survival, though it also hasn’t hampered his own chances of an escape route if relegation were to happen.

That is because O Dia has reported that Flamengo have shown an interest in the Argentine, who is claimed to earn £75,000 per week at the London Stadium.

It’s believed that all West Ham players will have a 50 per cent wage cut in the event of relegation, and that includes the former Lazio striker.

It feels like it is every transfer window that the Hammers are on the hunt for a new striker, and this summer is unlikely to be any different.

West Ham still lack that natural goalscorer, which has certainly played a big part in their lack of success over the last two campaigns.

It will be one of several priorities for the summer transfer window, and it will only be amplified in importance if Castellanos were to make the move to Flamengo, and even more so if they are unable to retain Callum Wilson.
