Moustapha Mbow receives ‘significant’ West Ham offer as defender considers Paris FC future

Moustapha Mbow could be heading out of Paris FC with West Ham United looking to secure his signing.

The Hammers have been linked with numerous centre-backs, as the future of many of their central defenders is still uncertain.

Konstantinos Mavropanos has been linked away from London Stadium over the last few weeks, with Axel Disasi’s move to the Irons dependent on survival.

Additionally, Max Kilman has done little to impress both supporters and manager over the last few months, with his potential sale likely to come as no surprise.

However, ahead of West Ham’s summer window, they are not sitting still and awaiting decisions to be made, with Mbow now seemingly on the shortlist.

According to RMC Sport, West Ham are one of three clubs that have already sent a “significant” offer to the Senegalese defender ahead of the summer.

The Irons face competition from fellow London rivals Crystal Palace and Fulham, who are said to have done the same.

Meanwhile, Ipswich Town, as well as interest from the Bundesliga and within Ligue 1, have been credited as well.

The Paris FC star is said to be “considering the next step in his career”.

Mbow was part of the Senegal squad that won AFCON 2026 before it was stripped away and handed to Morocco.

Additionally, he was recently made captain for Paris FC in their 4-0 win against Stade Brestois. The Senegalese footballer would provide the Hammers with added leadership at the back.

How much is Moustapha Mbow valued at?

Mbow may not be a cheap acquisition, with the Ligue 1 centre-back having a contract until 2028 for Paris FC.

The French capital side is in no rush to lose an experienced and quality defender such as the 26-year-old.

According to Transfermarkt, Mbow is currently valued at around £5.1million, but with plenty of interest and the recent decision to hand him the armband, Paris FC will not be easy to convince at that fee.

The Hammers may have to wait and see what their Premier League status is, as any move could depend on that. Crystal Palace and Fulham would be able to provide Mbow with top-flight football.

Additionally, Nuno Espirito Santo’s future at West Ham has also been called into question.
