Jordan James transfer too good to ignore for West Ham as final blow imminent
Jordan James is a target for West Ham United ahead of the summer window.
Tottenham can put the final nail in the coffin for West Ham on Tuesday night if they beat Chelsea, though a draw is just as likely to be enough to relegate the Hammers.
Even if Spurs were to pick up just one more point, it would require a dramatic, and near impossible, goal difference swing for the Irons to stay in the Premier League.
So in that regard, the general feeling is that West Ham are as good as gone, and they certainly can’t say it hasn’t been coming.
If so, the summer transfer window will be bigger than ever, and West Ham’s proposed move for James seems too good to turn down.

West Ham should make Jordan James a priority
The Hammers are going to have a lot of work to do this summer, and even more so depending on who stays and who goes.
But one of the main areas in which they will likely look to recruit is in midfield, with Mateus Fernandes destined for an exit from the London Stadium.

West Ham Zone reported the Hammers’ interest in James, after he was relegated with Leicester, and it is the perfect type of transfer to make.

The Wales international thrived in a dismal Championship side and has all the qualities needed to be a success at West Ham.
Not just in the Championship, but also in the Premier League if they were to make it back there in the not-so-distant future.
West Ham have tightrope to walk this summer
The Hammers could quite easily go and sign a Championship superteam to dominate the division next season, knowing that it would require another overhaul if they were to get promoted.
If so, the likelihood is that they would become somewhat of a yo-yo team.
However, signings like that of James would be almost foolproof, knowing that he could be a success in either division.
Either way, the recruitment at the London Stadium is going to need to be much better this summer, or else it could be another long, strenuous season.
