Jarrod Bowen set to force his way out of West Ham in order to get what he wants
Jarrod Bowen looks set to push for a West Ham United exit this summer.
The Hammers captain has endured multiple setbacks recently, with the club dropping down to the Championship and his exclusion from England’s World Cup squad.
There are doubts that the 29-year-old would be willing to play in the second tier, as that would not help him get back into Thomas Tuchel’s plans.
Alex Crook has now claimed he is sure that Bowen will look to leave the London Stadium in the transfer window.
West Ham fans will be dreading an exit for their skipper, but it appears as though it could be a very realistic possibility.

Bowen’s future is the biggest subject of debate at West Ham, with many fearing that he will depart for a club playing in the top-flight.
Crook believes that the Hammers’ demands will prove difficult for any interested club, but that Bowen will want to move on.

“I think it is going to be very difficult for West Ham to get the type of money that they would want in order to part company with their skipper.
“I’m sure he is going to push for it, because he obviously has ambitions to get back in the England fold.”
Why losing Bowen is not an option for West Ham
Bowen leaving would be nothing short of a disaster for a multitude of reasons.
For starters, he is the talisman, the man who puts the club on his back and tries his very best to get them out of trouble.
He played his part in trying to keep them in the top division, with nine goals and 11 assists in 38 matches, but it was not enough as his teammates did not produce at the same level.

Secondly, it would be dismal from a public relations perspective if the Irons could not convince their poster boy to stay put and fire them back to the top-flight, despite needing to make £150million in sales.
It would make them look weak, and while their position is worse, as they are not at the elite level anymore, they should still be able to convince him to stick around.
Finally, it would surely leave the supporters furious with the club, as he is the player within the squad that the fanbase identified with.
They need to keep the 22-cap international at all costs and hope that Crook’s assessment of the situation is wrong.
