West Ham: Taty Castellanos has perfect chance to do what Callum Wilson couldn’t vs Wolves
West Ham United have an attacking selection dilemma ahead of their clash with Wolves on Friday.
The Hammers are in desperate need of points and could have an ideal opportunity to add three to their tally at the London Stadium.
Rob Edwards’ side have improved in recent weeks, but they still sit at the bottom of the table and are destined to be relegated.
A clash with Nuno Espirito Santo’s old outfit needs to be taken seriously, especially after the meeting earlier in the campaign.
West Ham lost 3-0 to Wolves in January and can’t replicate that horror show, so they must hope for the best from Taty Castellanos and Callum Wilson in East London.

Callum Wilson had a stinker last time out vs Wolves
The result at Molineux was nothing short of terrible, and it looked as if a drop to the Championship was inbound for the Irons.
Things have turned around since that day, but fans haven’t forgotten just how bad their side was in the West Midlands just three months ago.
| Stat | Wolves | West Ham |
| Possession (%) | 33 | 67 |
| Expected goals | 1.87 | 0.25 |
| Shots | 11 | 6 |
| Shots on target | 8 | 0 |
| Big chances | 3 | 0 |
Part of that was the lack of true attacking quality from the claret and blue outfit, as they failed to take a shot on target across 90 minutes.
Wilson played a part in that failure after racking up an expected goal tally of just 0.06 at Molineux.
He also maintained a zero per cent dribble success rate and had just three touches in the opposition penalty area.

The Englishman also lost four duels and looked pretty lost up front against Wolves in a dismal day for the Hammers.
Wilson is set to be available against Wolves after his injury, but starting with Castellanos may prove to be more worthwhile.
Taty Castellanos deserves to start for West Ham
The ex-Bournemouth man has faced criticism for some of his performances in claret and blue, as has the Argentine January signing.
He came in from Lazio in the winter and has only scored three goals, but has shown some positive signs in East London.
Castellanos started last time out against Leeds United in the FA Cup, playing 105 minutes and was massively unlucky not to score.

The 27-year-old clocked up 1.19 expected goals with his six attempted shots, and he also created one chance for his teammates.
With a bit of luck against Wolves, Castellanos could thrive and find the net, something which Wilson wasn’t able to do at Molineux.
